     James is a qualified accountant and the founder of J-Benn Finance Ltd, bringing a wealth of experience from his time at major institutions including Aviva, Carillion, Lehman Brothers, Nomura, and JPMorgan.

    He’s passionate about helping individuals and business owners not just meet their financial obligations, but truly understand their numbers, empowering them to make smarter, more confident decisions.

    James is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). He holds a BSc (Hons) in Business and Management from Brunel University.

Meet the J-Benn Finance Team

  • AAT Level 4 MAAT

    Tarin is a highly experienced accounts professional with over two decades in practice. Having completed AAT Level 4 and currently in her final stages of ACCA, she brings deep technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to every client she supports.

    Tarin has worked across all areas of compliance, from year-end accounts and corporation tax to VAT and payroll. She is well-versed in software like Digita, Sage, and Xero. Known for her accuracy, problem-solving skills, and practical mindset, Tarin is a trusted asset to the team.

  • Client Support Manager

    AAT Level 2 AATQB

    Karen is currently working towards her AAT Level 3 qualification, having achieved a distinction at Level 2.

    With hands-on experience managing the administrative and accounting functions of her family business, she joined J-Benn to broaden her skills and gain exposure to a wider range of clients and industries.

    She is a certified Xero Advisor and is now working towards her Payroll certification as she continues to grow her expertise.

  • Client Support Manager

    AAT Level 3 AATQB

    Louise has extensive experience supporting individuals and businesses within the banking sector. Whilst raising her family she has undertaken AAT levels 2 and 3.

    Louise manages our client onboarding and supports our clients with bookkeeping, payroll and query management

    Louise is a certified Xero advisor, with Payroll certification next on her list.

    Darya is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification and brings a strong mix of academic ambition and practical experience to the J-Benn team.

    Her background includes managerial roles in hospitality, where she led teams, improved sales, and streamlined business operations — all skills she now applies to her accounting journey.

     With a keen eye for detail, solid spreadsheet skills, and a natural flair for communication, Darya is passionate about supporting clients and growing her expertise in the world of finance.
